Prayer for our elections
God our creator, thank you for being ever present to guide and strengthen us.
Thank you for guiding us to be your people who honor you, develop Christians, connect people and love everybody.
Thank you for enabling us through these elections to strengthen the Congregational Church of Christian Fellowship so that we collectively, through Pastoral leadership and members acting through the church’s structure, discern your will for this church.
Please be close to us as we learn and walk together in faith and discipleship. Enable us to build a beloved community of Christians emphasizing respect for one another, nurturing love, accountability, and a shared responsibility to create an environment that makes it easy for your spirit to move in our midst.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen
